The Oscars are in 8 days and 1 hour. At least, that's what it said at Yahoo.com. So they are next sunday at 8:00.

They are on Sunday, March 23, at 8 p.m eastern, 7 p.m. central, 6 p.m. mountain, 5
p.m. pacific, on ABC, in the US.
I can't wait, because I always love the Oscars, but this year I am kind of bummed out about TTT. And I kind of just want it to be over, so we can get on to being excited about the TTT DVD, the extended one, and of course the icing on the cake, the Return of the King!

So that's when the Oscars are! *does the maths* Ok...it seems they're on at about 1am for me...still that's what VCRs are for. I hope TTT gets some good awards...

Yeah, they are the only award show which is live in all of the US time zones (I don't know how they show it in Europe, or even if they do). That is great because is it usually over by 9 for me, and that is really good on a school night.
I was just wondering, is anyone doing anything exciting, like going to a party or anything like that? I don't think I am doing anything, I am probably just going to sit at home and watch the show (though I do know some people who have costume parties and stuff like that for the awards)
