Sting What happened to Ulmo...

Osse and Uinen after the change of the world?

At the beginning and (I presume) until the fall of Numenor and the change of the world, Ulmo used to live mostly in the Ekkaia. He rarely adopted a human (or elvish) form and only assisted to the councils of the Valar when the matters discussed were extremely important.

But what happened when Aman and Eressea were taken out of Arda? Did Ulmo stay in Arda, controlling the seas and as a Vala could go to Aman whenever he wanted?

or did he go with the rest of the valar to Aman and lived there, or maybe in the sea around Aman (after the change, if you follow the straight path you would seal to Aman?)

If he left, has he retained control of seas and rivers in Arda?

I am asking this because I was re-reading theh Silmarillion (for the 957th time) and read in the Valaquenta that Ulmo "still" lives in the sea and control it?

Tolkien

I think he probably stayed in his oceans. That's where he preferred to be, and he does not seem to be the sociable type to stay in Aman all the time. But, he could probably go back and forth if he wanted, or be in both places at once.
