Mormegil currently resides in a very grim place and I hope he leaves from there as soon as possible.

I don't think there's a better one out there right now than Mister Underhill's "Under the mistletoe."

I must say, The Ka has a lovely location. Nearly as lovely as she is.

Yes, that is certainly true. It's very sad, because I have definitely had less time to be on the Downs' (as well as less free time and sleep time). I do hope I can get used to it, or that it stops!

Well, she's back.
And her location is still one of the best. Diamond18's: Quote:

Thanks, Nilp. I have had this location for a very long time and intend to keep it unless something really screams to replace it. My first location, I think, was something Clue related, about being "In the library with the candlesnuffer". That may have been it exactly. Anyway, favorite song lyrics die hard.
Oddwen's COWBELL 'location' is my current favorite.

Diamond:
Your previous location was 'Clutching the candlesnuffer in(?) the conservatory'
Why do you know? Because I have saved the original REB thread before the move to VBB, and it preserved, among other things, your pre-Unwell location. (I miss Bb's weird white avvie. And Squatter's Cardinal Richilieu, too.)

Thanks, Nilp
Ahhhh, that was it. And as I haven't even saved the REB thread (though maybe I should, it would beat having to dig through Elvenhome whenever I need to find something) I am very impressed.
To drag this back on topic, I like Esty's Dancing on a Pinhead, and am continually impressed by her WtR stats.

And concerning the walking mileage - well, slow and steady does it. I've been counting for almost three years now, so an average of roughly 1000 miles a year is not as much as it might seem at first glance. There are days when a mile or two of dog walking is all I do, though I try to accomplish more than that.

Re: Esty's location
Hehe, now that you've said it . . .
The other day, spawn and I were talking about your location (among other things), and I asked her, 'How many Balrogs can dance on a pinhead?' Two conundrums in a sentence! (This is post is proudly mildly off-topic.)

Lommy, your location makes me think of a Far Side cartoon:
A bunch of penguins are standing on an ice flow, with a polar bear in the middle wearing a little beak mask. One penguin's saying to the other, "And now Edgar's gone. Somethings going on around here, I tell ya!"

Yes, indeedy. I also appreciate the fact that it's not just any run o' the mill piddly little black hole, but a supermassive one. Diamond o' the Eighteen would suffer nothing less for her abode.

I think the one you quoted is Child's, Gil. . .
I think the one I'm about to quote is Firefoot's (I think. . .) Quote:

Yes, Folwren, it's Firefoot's. She's had it since late March or April this year, I think, and a few times I caught myself wondering why she's never changed it. It was no longer as appropriate, I thought, as when she first used it. How could I even think that?

Macalaure receives my praise for being cool enough to quote Metallica in his location.
Never never land indeed. Unless you're just quoting Peter Pan, which is nice, but not quite as inherently cool as Metallica.
