Eye The Legolas Appreciation Thread

I know what everyone is thinking. Nimrodel must be one of those crazy fan-girls. No I am not. I am not obsessed with Orlando Bloom (I prefer Dominic and Viggo ). But I decided I would start this thread any way. We are constantly reading posts by the Leggy-boppers (I confess I am one of them). But can`t the poor guy get a little respect? In the books he is a bit of a pansy yes, but he is also one of the brave fellowship members. He does what he can to help Frodo, and is a really cool guy. Who shares my idea?

The Barrow-Wight is a guest of Tom Bombadil.
I'm keeping an eye on this thread, because it looks extremely like to be closed. But I would like to hear about where Legolas is a 'pansy' in the books. I missed that part and would love to see some details.

He's more amusing in the books...if slightly creepy, but I like him best in the parts that were cut from the books. *bows to C Tolkien*

The Saucepan Man has been trapped in the Barrow!
Question

OK, so that's two unsupported assertions now: "pansy" and "creepy".

Evidence?

Creepy because he turns killing things into a game. I find that rather creepy....well, when not talking about 'Sues, of course! *sheepish*

[Darn Straight! I'm not creepy, just enthusiastic.]

Says the one who tied up a 'Sue, paralyzed her vocal chords and fed her to spiders...alive. -_-

You'll need to start over if you want to discuss this topic correctly.
