White Tree Cross-Breading

If you had the power of Saruman and Sauron to cross-bread creatures in Middle Earth, what would you do? What would come out of the depth to enter Middle Earth?

First, I'd start with crossing Eagles and Ents. A powerful combo. With the ability of flight, ents could become the most powerful thing there is.

Next, I'd cross spiders with men, making "spider-men" Capible of swinging from building to building with the strength of Tulkas.

Afterwards, I'd cross Balrogs with a skin-changer. It would become a magnificient weapon. It would look like a little hobbit girl, but, when provoked, a Balrog would emerge.

With other ents (those not becoming Flying Ents), I'd cross them with wargs, making super agile ents.

What would you do?

White-Hand Cross breading is evil!

I'd cross rye with wheat to make wicked sandwich loaves, or maybe pumpernickle with white for evil hamburger buns. Oh! Cornbread and sourdough! That'd be a truly pernicious recipe!

I'd cross Balrogs with Eagles, that way it would be a pure certainty that they have wings.

And I'd cross 12 Grain with Potato.

Yes it's evil, but since when hasn't evil been fun?

Here's something: Nazgul + a dead soldier from the dwimmorburg = Dementors

This is something that works like the Goblin + orc = Uruk theory:

Hill troll breeded with cave trolls makes super trolls!

And here's something worse than the terror of bread. Cheese

Mix blue, feta, gorgonzola and stilton (and come to think of it, all of those cheeses mentioned in "cheese shop" by monty python) and you get Über-cheese, A cheese so strong it can strike terror into the hearts of the bravest!

What happens when you cross a Dwarf and an Elf?

Probably because it is.

I'd cross Hobbits and Ents. Hobbits, who will eat anything and everything, and Ents who can eat everything. A quick way to clear countryside, enemies, waste, etc. out of your path. Just let them eat it all up.

Heh heh, what an efficient method, Meela! Might I also suggest dragons and hobbits, therefore you get a angry, firebreathing eating machine!

Boots And their boots are yellow!

I'd cross Tom Bombadil with the giant spiders. Singing giant arachnids wearing yellow boots who speak in riddles and hate barrow wights. *singing to Spider Man theme song*

Spider Tom, Spider Tom!
Greatest hero of Spiderdom!
Spins a web, sings all night
But he's no match for our Barrow Wight!

Look out! Here comes the Spider Tom!

Brilliant song, Maeggaladiel! I can just see him, swinging through the Old Forest on his webs. In full Spidey costume, of course, with a hat with a blue feather and yellow boots.

My thanks to my cat for her inspiration for this.

Elves crossed with Wraiths:
They work in the same way as sirens. Their Elven beauty lures you in, then they open their mouths and knock you unconscious with their Black Breath.

Mr B-W, are you on GAFF? That kind of snark is very GAFF-y.

And me? I wouldn't cross breed. Genetic Engineering is a more sure way of getting the characteristics you want. So I'd cross-engineer a Fell-beast with on of the Nazgul's steeds. It would look like a fell beast, but be covered in hair so it's be comfier to sit on, would be able to eat anything and wouldn't smell as bad!
