I love and heartily endorse this new choice of Boromir88:

For your health, and my sanity, please read through the thread.

Not only is it good advice but an aptly succinct choice for the "Laconic Loreman"

I agree with that nomination, Eonwe. It reminds me of something I heard about a Math prof who said that he (?) hates it when someone asks what studying Math is for. He said it was like standing in front of the Grand Canyon and asking what it's for. And you know what he wants to do? Push them off.

I think TORE's is funny because the toast thing is annoying but I am very fond of cats and would not endorse dropping them experimentally with or without toast appended.

Thanks Lommy. It's a line from the movie "MirrorMask" -- screenplay by Neil Gaiman.

I love Firefoot's quirky riddle signatures, and I think I actually know the answer to this one:

Quote:
Question of the Week: What three things that you can eat can you never eat for breakfast?
Would that be lunch, dinner/supper, and dessert?

Ah, the ever strange signatures of TORE:

Quote:
Everyone knows that a dropped cat will land on its paws. You also know that a dropped piece of toast will always land butter-side down on the carpet. What happens if you tie a piece of toast butter-side up to a cat's back and then you drop the cat?
Hey... Snickers... come over here for a minute, I'm curious about something.

Thanks. I found it in my Gmail account quote of the day banner. The originator is a comedian named Steven Wright, whom I'm actually not familiar with. But I liked the quote.

Since we are of the same height (or so he told me), I'll answer this - though not necessarily for him: We can touch the top of doorposts, preciouss!

Unless, of course, our height doesn't fall under the midget category.

Anyways, I know it's old, but I could not help agreeing with Celuien's siggie:

We are indeed the same height, though it probably doesn't seem it in the Philippines.

We can touch doorposts, indeed.

And we are four inches above official midget height, which is 4'10.

This is vaguely relevant, isn't it?

Well Hookbill I really like Little Britain, but they don't show it over here. That means that I have to get my Famely in England to buy the dvd's and send them over.
