We've only got 15 minutes until the start of Day 2 and the Wolves have not sent me a name yet. If I don't receive a name from them by the deadline, I'll simply choose a villager at random to kill off. Just thought you should be informed.
EDIT: Okay, I'm postponing the deadline for another hour after it was supposed to have been. The wolves have that long to PM me. FURTHER EDIT: I have now decided to postpone the game indefinitely until I receive a response from the wolves.

Does this mean tomorrow's deadline will be delayed as well, or will Day 2 simply be a shorter than normal?

Well, I've opened up the game thread anyway, and I decided not to kill anybody off. I'm sorry about all the problems, people.

I have to attend a talent show in the morning, and I'm not sure how long it will last. Hopefully there will be enough time between the end of the show and when I have to get to work that I can make it back and post.
Ah, middle schoolers singing Lincoln Park songs. I can't think of a better reason to get out of bed 3 hours earlier than I normally do.

This is quite, quite ridiculous.
But I doubt you will hear any more of me than you heard yesterDay. It's still the exam week and I'll be leaving for my friend's summer house a few hours after school, so there won't be a lot of time for me to play. I apologise for being this useless and annoying - well, at least I see such drop in, make two posts, vote very early -people as quite annoying - but I must say I didn't take the timezones into account and thought we would not be playing today (RL). If I'm still alive on Day3, I promise to be more productive and less absent!

Oh, only one thing, Menel, please - could you post here when exactly will the deadline be today? (you can do it in your Eastern Time, I learned to count with it )

It ends at the normal time, and then the Easter break starts. Night 3 begins on Monday at the usual time.
You can PM me names and such over the weekend as well as on Night 3.

Oh, you rock, Roa!
Okay, I figured out I have to vote immediately after the day begins, which is terrible for strategy, but it's the only time I can vote. This schedule is killing me... |

Actually, I can change the schedule over the weekend if you'd like. What does everyone think would be a good time to start/end the Days?

Hmm...the deadline right now is quite perfect for me, but perhaps I'm the only one.
Maybe we should make it an hour later? That may help Gil and xyzzy who are on MST and CST. I don't know when Sixth usually gets up, but an 8am deadline isn't so early as 7. Of course, this could be problematic for the Europeans...I don't know how much of a late-nighter you guys are... If you do change the deadline, I ask you to please please not make it any earlier than it is now. Because then I'll have to start voting early too, and I'm sure it won't be very convenient for the other Americans either... Man, these time zones are annoying. I think no matter what we do, the deadline's going to be problematic for somebody. Sigh...

An hour later would give me a chance to be around at deadline. No garuntees, but I do get off work early when the ratios are low. Or high, depending on how you look at it.... I agree with Brinn, though, earlier is not better.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I get home at 1830 CDT (GMT-5), or 2330 GMT, so any time after that is good. If that's too late, I'll just vote sometime around 1900.
...My schedule stinks! |

Speaking strictly from previous games, 6 PM eastern time (10 PM GMT) is usually the best compromise all around. It gives a good number of people in the Western hemisphere time to post after work/school, while not being too late at night for most people in the Eastern hemisphere. (The exceptions being Lhuna and Nilp, but not much can be done there.)

OK, Roa's idea seemeth like a good one. Day 3, not Night 3, beginneth on Monday.

About the timetables: The one we have now is pretty alright to me as it is midnight here in Finland. That's something I can handle pretty easily. An hour more is bearable too as from this on I will not have any early morning lessons (the earliest will begin at 10AM from this on). So if an hour more gives chances to some players, to me it's perfectly fine.

I'm thinking it might be best to move the deadline to one hour later than it is now. Would that be alright with everyone here?

I seem to be confusing when it comes to timetables, so I 'd like to say 'fine by me'.

I think it's "I do," "Thou dost," and "He/she doth" in Ye Olde Shakespearean Englishe, speaking as Ye Olde Knighte of games past.

Very well, "I do" then.
6:00 does actually make a better deadline for me because then I'll have an extra hour to post after my classes, and I won't feel so rushed. The only day where I'd probably have to vote early is Friday (if I'm still around by then) since that day I usually work til 5. But nothing can really be done by that, so I won't worry about it. So, Day 3 starts tomorrow at 6pm EST. Is that correct?

One hour later makes it 12 pm instead of 11 pm for me. I'm okay with that. Who needeth sleep.
I won't be able to put in a quick post just after the deadline, though, but I think I'll survive that. |

This one is a bit more specific.
http://www.worldtimeserver.com/conve...&d=9&h=18&mn=0 Just use the pull down menu over the second time to find your location. The time converter when Day 3 starts in your own time.

Also, when times for playing are given in GMT everyone can check them from the bottom of her/his own pages of the Barrow-Downs, anyone of them. Just scroll down enough.
Fex. in my page there reads now: Quote:

But I must also agree with Macalaure, that this will reduce the possibility of me posting in the beginning of the Day. It's not downright impossible to be sure. But that's nothing compared to the benefit of getting more people around on the ends of the Days. So a good idea, I think.

Important information concerning Lommy.
She called me and asked me to bring forwards the following: She had a catastrophic day at the library with the time-limited computers and lost all her work. And finally the computers stopped all co-operatiion and she left for home frustrated. So we shall be hearing no more of her toDay.

I'd like to explain
Quote:
I was ill, so I didn't go to school. (And I normally play in school during the breaks.) As I don't have a net access home, the situation looked pretty hopeless. Anyway, I headed for a library to make even some posts. I didn't manage to reserve a computer for more than half an hour or fifteen minutes at a time. I used some of my library time to read the hordes of e-mail I had got for one project. Then, I spent a lot of time switching computer and copying and pasting parts of my post to my e-mail. It also took me very long to read the thread through, since I hadn't read everything from even Day2. So, when after spending about two hours in the library and almost having written one long post, three minutes before my time with the computer automatically log me out and it would be some other person's turn, the computer stuck. I was't able top copypaste the things I had written and so I lost two thirds of everything I had written during the library visit. At that phase I was really frustrated and thought of going home, but I decided to make a short post and vote first. However, all the free computers remaining - so I guess the whole system - failed to co-operate with me. They didn't open Mozilla Firefox (the computer babbled something about program being already running and thus unable to be reopened) or Internet Explorer (the computer stuck on loading the program for more than five minutes, while it normally takes less than a minute to load the program). So I gave up and went home, and if I hadn't bought hordes of chocolate from the nearby shop, I doubt I'd be sane. Sorry for über-long post, but I felt I should explain.

I know the dead can't talk...
...but this one is an exception. How typical of me to get killed just before the day I would have had most time - and possibly most fun. Anyway, what else did I have? Oh, yes, now I remember: I'm a much better seer than Mac since he needs some ghastly dinosaur to find out about things, but I can see the future just by myself:

To my fellow Werewolvers!
My sincere apologies for not getting back to you yesterDay. I was happily posting on the 'Downs when I realised that the power meter on my laptop was going down instead of up. Upon closer inspection I found that the power cord wasn't charging it. The laptop proceeded to hibernate, with me watching helplessly. The battery I am running on now is a spare I just found, but I don't think it has more than 2 hours running time left. Once again sorry for not voting, and I'll try to get this fixed as soon as possible. Must log off soon, every second typing is a second of battery power! |

This corpse can't obviously keep her mouth shut
But since you discussed it yesterDay, I feel like I should say a few words now and not save it to the post-game discussion.
My words about Legate being like a hog on laughing gas, or something like that, were not meant as an insult. I'm very sorry and sad if someone took them as such. They were meant as banter, or as a lively way of voicing my opinion about Legate's different (from the last game) wilder/crazier/more joking playing style. I am sorry if they were, or were interpreted as, offensive - that was definitely not my purpose. So my apologies to you all, and especially to Legate. Language can be a difficult thing.
