Question Preview: FOTR

The FOTR preview was just screened at the Embassy Theatre in Wellington, New Zealand last Thursday. Was this the whole film or the preview from Cannes or some thing else? I'm pretty sure it was'nt a trailer. I was there the day after and it was in the newspaper and stuff. Some thing about a select 1200 people seeing it and saying how great it was.

I didn't hear about that or I'd have gatecrashed. I suspect that it was a teaser and not the whole thing. I don't even know if editing has finished yet. Mind you, old Pete might be feeling generous to his fellow countrymen, who knows. I will be watching this thread just in case.
Pete, if you're reading this, next time invite me plz!

Haven't they been having those screenings for the press all over? I think they had one in NYC too.

It was 25 minutes long, and even those who haven't read LOTR found it great!

Unlike '***', which is a 'kiddie' abbreviation seldom seen around here, LOTR is the obvious acronym for 'Lord of the Rings'.

Really BW? See I didn't know that. You have enreached me so much by not answering my question.
Perhaps you should actually read posts before responding. I asked what FOTR was.

Well, so you did! And the equally easy answer to that is FOTR = Fellowship of the Ring. It's the first of the three 'books' that make of the LOTR. Glad I could be of assistance.
Btw, to reiterate the true meaning of my last post, don't use terms like '***' here. Oh, and DON'T get smart with the admins or other members.
That is all.
