Re: 'Quizmasters'...

Slow-coach that I am, I've only just starting my Toorin Turambar quiz. Am I allowed to use information from UT, in which there is a hella lot more from Narn, or must I make do with info salvaged from Silma?

Re: 'Quizmasters'...

Keep all quiz material to Hob, LotR &amp; Sil. Using other books excludes most visitors to the Downs from having a clue.

Re: 'Quizmasters'...

Hmmm... that makes my task exceedingly difficult. What about if you put summat like:

NEW QUIZZES
Turin Turambar (by Gwaihir) - MEDIUM - you'll need Unfinished Tales for this one, folks.

Surely we could make this one exception?

Re: 'Quizmasters'...

There is a whole chapter devoted to Turin in Sil. Surely you can get 10 questions out of that!?

Re: 'Quizmasters'...

Yes, I could, but some really good questions... well... there is whole short book devoted to Turin in UT! Questions like 'Who did Turin call Hopafoot' cannot be found in Silma. They are the best ones.
Awright, wight, one more stubborn post from you like the last one will blow me over and I'll model it from Silma. But I thought that since I could write a better quiz using Ut, and that apparently we haven't had a UT quiz before...?

Re: 'Quizmasters'...

Very few ppl have read UT compared to LotR and Sil. A UT quiz will have little masss appeal. I like UT, but have to think of everyone who visits the Downs, trying to appeal to as many as possible.

Write 2 Turin quizzes. One from Sil. and one from UT and then I'll post the UT one <img src=smile.gif ALT="">
