Sting The rune on the Uruk-Hai shield...

This question was composed by the member Aragorn_The_Ranger but he asked me to post it up for you since he cant accsess the forum. Anyway he wants to know...
In The Two Towers, in the scene where Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas are looking amoungst the bodies of the dead Uruk-Hai, there is a shield (owned by one of the Uruk-Hai) which has an 'S' rune on it. It stands for Saruman, yet would it be Tengwar or Angerthas?

Sting

Thanks Iargath for doing this for me. I can now access the Downs. Yet the scene I was talking about was from the book. I think it was either at the end of FotR or the start of TTT. Aragorn is looking among the dead uruks and he says they are not ors as he could tell by their armour. They look at a shield and their is an 'S' rune on it. Gimli thinks it stands for Sauron yet Aragorn tells him that it stands for Saruman. I just wanted to know whether it was in Tengwar or Angerthas.
Thanks anyway Iargath
