The Voice of Saruman has just left Hobbiton.
White-Hand Desolation of Smaug - What do you look forward to?

I can say I'm excited about the White Council attacking Dol Guldur. More so just seeing Saruman. Also getting to see the Elves of Mirkwood, more so king Thranduil.

Not to be rude, but I'm personally excited to laugh at the additions they needlessly implanted to the story, and cringe at the corny dialogue.

I look forward to the elves putting thongs on Thorin.

I'm excited to see:

Billy Connoly as Dain, Lee Pace as Thranduil, Saruman and Bilbo's conversation with Smaug...and that's about it at the moment judging by the 'Crystal Skull Esque' Trailer and rumours I've heard (almost all the ruours about AUJ turned out to be correct).

In a weird way I'm excited to want to kick Radagast in the face, and to see Tauriel's hamfisted cliched dialogue, oh and the flying elves and bouncing dwarves should be fun in 3D.

But most of all I look forward to 'Tolkien Expert' Phillpa 'Hasn't read The Silmarillion in 25 years' Boyens reminding me just how detailed the appendices really were, and correcting my assumptions that Tauriel, crazy visuals, toliet humour, and long winded action sequences weren't in the spirit of the book.

Would that type of brief be known as the sling under the mountain?
