That movie is fantastic... must get the DVD once it comes out. Be sure to see it once it's in theaters by you, everyone. You'll love it. Not only because Depp is amazing, but because Christopher Lee is in it too.

Enca I just saw your sig! That is the funniest movie in the world. Johnny Depp is my hero! Christopher Lee is good in it too.

I love Nuranar's sig. Lord Peter Wimsey is most definitely a source of excellent quatable material. Nuranar's old sig (also Lord Peter Wimsey) was very nice as well:

I like Narfforc's sig. True, he doesn't have one, but it makes his posts look very classy.

Nilpaurion Felagund stole my signature!!!
With one tiny difference, but the point is... I just read a post and between seeing the sig and scrolling up to reread the post and seeing his name, I kept thinking "Wait... I don't remember writing this!". He... he stole my sig.

I was keener when I didn't know what it meant, Mith. It's quite possible that Russian sig said 'All doves must be grilled' and then it wouldn't have been a favourite.
Quite a scope for a practical joke, really. Edit to add: Fea's new sig is probably a fine example. I've no idea what it means but I'm sure it has nothing to do with the grilling of doves, and it looks quite lovely. Did someone have a Chinese sig a while back? I thought I remembered that a couple of nights ago...could just be havering.

See? It's a beautiful language. It could mean 'Murder all kittens with blunt axes' but it still looks nice.
That's not what it means, is it?

No but I can cut and paste into an online translator and then make sense of the gobbledegook that tends to come out of them .

Pas de lieu Rhone que nous
I'm almost completely French and I don't even understand it. Lieu means 'where something comes from', so maybe it means, if I go by what TGWBS said it means 'The river Rhone doesn't come from anything but us????'

Okay, I'll see what I can get out of this...
Caesar adsum iam forte; Brutus aderat. Caesar sic in omnibus; Brutus sic in at = Caesar to assist now by chance Brutus aderat. Caesar so upon omnibus Brutus so upon but ...And that's all. Although: Omnibus is: A printed anthology of the works of one author or of writings on related subjects. Aderat, I'm guessing is a surname. Oh, well. On to different things, I gave my best. ~ Ka

There seems to be a new foreign-language trend for siggys. I expect my new siggy will probably be something cynical about this.

Sorry, Fea.
Just had to respond to your . . . statement.
But clearly your image was the superior version. Mine was sloppily made. Did you perchance notice the odd periods?

Oh Nilp, I don't mind at all. I did notice the periods. You'll be happy to know that the only reason my "occult" was outlined was because I couldn't get my heart to line up otherwise. But I'm rather more fond of my new signature, so all is well.

Fea, is yours supposed to make logical sense? I think I've got the gist of it but it's very random... I've been toying around with a Latin sig for a long time now (since Christmas or so), but I've not yet found anything I like. Maybe soon. |
