Aman, have I ever mentioned that I love your location? It always makes me smile. Sounds like my definition of Valinor.

Firefoot, I like yours as well.
And Aman... can you really separate the Wizard of Oz into best and worst? Oh yes... the flying monkeys were the worst. They terrified me as a small child. But can you imagine lemon drops in Valinor? Wouldn't that be perfect...

Fea's location makes me smile.... And my own (as much I love it) freaks me out--yes, me. The one who put it there. It frightens me.

I like Elrond's Daughter's location. It doesn't exactly freak me out, but it's amusing. -EF

Oh, but I do know, Fea. That's why it makes me smile. "Me and Julio Down By the School Yard", of course.

Every time I see Boro88's location "Ohio" I think of the Drew Carey show theme song where he yells "Ohio!!" at the end.
And I'm sure every Star Wars fan here on the Downs thinks AbercrombieOfRohan's "Herding nerfs" is great.

Fea - glad to know I wasn't the only one scared by the monkeys! I had a recurring nightmare that they would come for me, just swoop in in the night and steal me away. That was, of course, before my self-esteem plummetted and I realised with a certain amount of resigned gloom that there ain't no one gonna try to steal me away. Funny how one's perspective changes, ain't it?

I'll second Lhuna's recommendation. That made me chuckle the first time I noticed it.

I just noticed Bethberry's "over the hills and far away".
I love it...in fact, I almost made that my location just a little while ago! I'm glad I didn't, simply to save myself from embarrassment. |

It is, I believe, taken from the same line in The Brothers Grimm the first part of my signature is. In either case it is very entertaining.

Not a song, there are no lyrics. And no, it's not from The Hall of the Mountain King. Although it’s a very cool thing! (Being known as The "Alton Towers" theme tune to most of us in Blightly).
Try again.
