Tolkien Fishing Middle Earth

There is nothing like getting away for a little fishing the fine waters of Middle Earth! I prefer the cold water lake of Evendim, though the Brandywine is fine too!!

I'm, not much into angling really, but this is a very nice resource just for information on rivers and such. Very detailed.

Yes, I was rather impressed with the detail that was put into the waterways of Middle Earth too.

I really enjoy fishing anywhere but to fish in Middle earth that would be a dream . I prefer lakes and ponds where the water is quite still . How about Esgaroth ? I would like to fish in the Brandywine too .

Yes! Esgoroth! There is a tavern in Laketown where they have tables and chairs outside and you can throw a line in while enjoying fresh beverage!

I think in this midsummer, I will trek through Midgewater and see if the legendary tales of fish there are indeed true, but I hear the midges may be carrying West Mordor desease.

Wow, that's a really good description of the rivers of ME. I'm not really one for fishing, but I suppose I would do it in ME.

Maybe the fish of Mordor are poisonous but find that out we would have go fishing to Lake Nūrnen filled with the dark and sad waters of Mordor .
But still I prefer my own pond full-o-fish . A perfect place to fish and it really looks Middle Earth kind with old silver willows with branches bent 'till the water and water lillies at sides of it and sitting places and stuff..... My fave place .

Better make sure that you don't fall asleep under the willows, Ophelia.

If one of those willows would swollow me than it would look more like Mordor (without any willows) for my wood cuting skills are good ...
