I'm trying to keep it straight in my head what kind of elves live where and la la la..OK..the Nandor.under the direction of Lenwe stopped and lived near the Anduin..are the Nandor the same as the Silvan elves?

The Nandor were those who crossed into Beleriand, the Green Elves of Ossiriand, with the Silvan Elves being those who didn't cross the Misty Mountains and resided in Greenwood (later Mirkwood) and the Vales of Anduin.

The Nandor were led down the Anduin by Lenwe, but his son, Denethor, led many of them to Beleriand to live with their relatives - to Thingol and his Sindarin kingdom of Doriath. The Nandorin elves left Beleriand with the Sindar, and these among a few others of other kindreds meshed together into what then became the Silvan elves.
