My dog is Tycho (Star Wars) but I think that my next German Shepherd will be Aragorn or Legolas. When I get a horse someday... Asfaloth or Shadowfax.

I have five rabbits and I've been meaning to give them all Elvish names that describe each of their demeanors. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I used to have rats, five of them, and they were called:
Frodo, Sam, Gollem, Rocky and Rambo... My dogs don't have ME names, I wasn't alone to pick the names, unforunately! If I ever get a pony, which I certainly will not , I would call him Bill, of course!

I want to get a budgie or something and name it Gwaihir. Or Crebain.
Or Dwimmerlaik, if it's really noisy. [ July 04, 2003: Message edited by: Horse-Maiden of the Shire ]

I have named my fish Wraith and Gollum.
Wraith is a black molly, and Gollum has big eyes. I was considering Shadow and Fax, but I decided not to use that.

I wanted to name my dog some off the wall lotr name that not that many people have heard of, but I had to share the dog with my sisters, so the best I got was Samwise. Oh well, I like sam, so that's good. Well it's actually not even my dog it is just one of the puppies my dog had, so we're not even keeping it anyway. so I guess it doesn't matter. My sister's friend just called last night and told her she got a kitten and named it Frodo. (my sister didn't apreciate it as much as me )

My cousin named his black poodle Frodo. It was quite funny because it was a tiny little thing with lots of black curly hair, and kept running into doors and walls. It acted almost exactly like Frodo himself!

If I ever have a golden retriever for some odd reason as I don't even want one, I'd name it Faramir. If I ever get a pony it's name shall be Stybba. And the first dogs I get in the future will be named Maeglin and Haldir.

I had a dog that died some time ago, and it was called Smeagol. The next time I'll be getting an ugly dog, I'd probably call it Gorbag, or Snaga.
I'm thinking about getting an albino python and calling it Smaug - or Smaug the Golden. Elessar would be a cute name for a kitty.

I would get a pug and name it Elanor . For those of you who are unenlightened as to what pugs are like, they are small dogs with squished in faces & a tendancy to be overweight and snore a lot. They love food. As you can see, they are very Hobbitish.

Heehee. Very nice description of pugs. . We have two frogs in our pond (if they count as "pets". Well, I guess they don't have to count as pets, I named them anyhow). My mom named one Kermit ( ) and I named one Pippin. Somehow that doesn't seem like a frog name.... ...but oh well.
