Pio, I have labelled your last space 30 Narie, and piggy backed on top of your post. The earlier posts all said 29 Narie, so I didn't want to use those. If this isn't right, let me know and I'll move. sharon

Confused.....how can Pio talk to Cami on 29 Narie when she is still in the woods. (Unless Pio uses osanwe??) Cami will return the morning of 30 Narie, creeping in very early. Please clarify and I'll jump forward as needed. sharon

All please note: I have saved several spaces for those needing to fill something in for 29 Nárië (The day Gilly and Rose find Mith and Bird) The calendar is now set ahead for 30 Nárië; the day after that will be Loëndë - the twin's birth - which I hope to get to on Tuesday, Real Time. Is that all right with everyone? Auriel, btw, nice baddie post! Mithadan, Bird: do you know about when you will reach the ruffians' HQ? For Orual .....and anyone else who's slightly lost.... ---Mithadan and Birdland have decided to "infiltrate" the bandits to gather inside information. They are now on their way to Bree to try and hitch up with the bad guys, even though Pio is due to give birth any day now. ---The bandits (Auriel, Nuru) have kidnapped Fosco, the nasty little child who is the son of Angelica Baggins (Nuru), and is holding him with the other hobbit children. He is proving to be quite a handful ---Rose Goodchild (WhiteLady) and Gilly Took (played by Pio) tried to run off to join Mithadan and Bird in their foray to the bandits. Gilly was sent back by Mithadan to the Inn, since she is supposed to be a nursemaid to the twins. She is expected to arrive sometime tomorrow. However, Rose Goodchild, being the stubborn type like her mother, has gone on with Mithadan and Bird. ---Cami and Maura have decided to disobey the orders of the Valar that they go their separate ways (Second and Third Ages) at the end of the tale. They are determined to stay together. Pio treated Cami rather abruptly, so Cami left Hobbiton in a tiff and vowed not to return. The sensible Maura changed her mind and she is now returning. Oh, yes, Cami is pregnant.... Frodo Baggins has heard the rumors on the street that he is to blame for the appearance of the bandits. He vows to do whatever is necessary to help clean up the mess. If anyone has anything to add or clarify, please be my guest. ******************************************** As I read over this synopsis, I am reminded of the afternoon soaps! ******************************************** What happens next, and how does Sam fit in? ---In the next few days (game and real time), Pio will have her twins with the assistance of Angelica Baggins, her midwife. ---One week after the birth of the twins (game time), there will be a party given to celebrate the arrival of the twins, and for Cami and Maura to exchange public vows. ---Sam, sometime tomorrow real time, Frodo will come to you and ask if you can throw the baby arrival/wedding party at Bag-end. Perhaps you could respond to him as you see fit and help with the planning, and welcome folk to your house on the day of the party? ---One minor point, during the course of the party, rumor has it that the twins may be stolen......but we won't get into such unpleasant things now. Hope this helps. Anyone else with anything to throw in? sharon

I am in the process of inserting a number of posts into the save spaces while Pio is giving birth. I'm about half-way done and will finish tomorrow. Orual, I'll be sending you a pm to do some planning, probably tomorrow. Please look at the first post on page 10. This is where Maura talks to Sam about the party. I hate to tell you this, but you've just agreed to open up your house for visitors! Cami

Is it fine to keep putting in back-at-the-hideout posts in while the action is focused in the Shire? Just want to check before I add another.

Mithadan, I plan to borrow Lorien for a brief conversation. He won't even need to leave his bedchamber... Pat, Can I send a post to you to put up at the right time in the thread, since I will not be here this weekend? The scene will be at midnight, and will involve a conversation with Lorien and later with Pio who will be up nursing her little ones. (I wonder how much sleep Pio is getting with two hungry little critters...) Also, to everyone, I filled in my save of 5/7, 2:47 pm, welcoming the twins. Orual, Please see my pm on party and wedding plans. sharon

Under Orual's post of May 9 at 1:06 p.m., I've added a discussion of flowers for the party. Yes, that was not a misprint! Actually, this was kind of interesting. I have a book from 1913 that gives the meanings of about 500 flowers. I am quite sure Tolkien would have been familiar with these meanings. Lobelia, for example, means "malevolence." Needless to say, Cami did not choose that one for her bouquet. sharon
