I knew she looked familiar..and having been a pawn in the cunning plans she produced for her werewolf game I am sure she could contrive devious detective plots too!

Dorothy L. Sayers cropped up in one of the Oxonmoot lectures I attended - apparently Tolkien was a fan in general but hated Gaudy Night !!!!

I'm quite a fan of Bill Bryson (I certainly buy all his books and devour them within mere hours), so imagine my surprise when I opened his latest, The Life And Times Of The Thunderbolt Kid to discover something I had not quite realised before. He looks suspiciously like a Downer!
