I think that the Balrog would win. He'd set the Nazgul's robes on fire & send them high-tailing back to Minas Morgul.
What about Lobelia vs. Merry? (Remember FotR when Merry was watching over Bag-end while Frodo napped & Lobelia came over?) [ September 06, 2003: Message edited by: Lily Bombadil ]

How about Erendis versus Ioreth? or
Aldarion versus Isildur, and I'd love to see a fight between Glorfindel and Fingolfin! Also Túrin versus Aragorn. I want Túrin to win since I love him to bits, and he could beat that stinky old Many Names to within an inch of his life, and more! Anyhoo, continuing! Balrog (Gothmog) vs Sauron. The Mouth of Sauron vs The Eye of Sauron Both Blue Wizards vs Gandalf (grey) and Radagast. That's all! From Elróthiel, the Insane Elven Goddess of Hilariosity and Laughter Who Sees the Corruption of the World Today!

Goodness Gracious Me! How could anyone ever think our Prince of Mirkwood could EVER beat Glorfindel!!!! Glorfindel would just own him! Same goes for Éomer and Faramir, Éomer would kick the crap out of Faramir!

Actually, I think Eomer and Faramir were very similarly matched.
Any thoughts on this fight? ERU vs TOM BOMBADIL Hmm?

Frodo, of course. Like Sam could ever fight Frodo.

How about Aragorn and Eomer against Boromir and Faramir?

I would definitely say Aragorn and Eomer, easily, however Faramir and Boromir would give them a run for their money.

Who would win in a fight between Aragorn and Eomer? Who win in a fight between Boromir and Faramir?

Hmmm id say Aragorn, as much as i would like Éomer to win, i think Aragorn would probably kill him. As for Boromir and Faramir, id say Boromir... i have no other reason than i just like Boromir better...

Well, Eomer and Boromir have the strength advantages but Aragorn and Faramir are both extremely skilled.
Too close to call. What about Rose Cotton and Arwen Undomiel?

Definitely Rosie She has Sam so under her thumb. hehe
How about Manwe and Melkor (uncorrupted and drained of his power)?? Wouldn't want to watch this fight live... probably destroy Middle Earth twiceover. |

Well, Melkor is mightier so he'd win. Unless Manwe shocked everyone, became evil and kicked him in the groin to get the upperhand!
I'd love to hear JR call that finale. Anyway, I digress. Today's fight is Shelob vs Treebeard. Predictions?

I'll go Shelob because she'll suck the life out of Treebeard like Ungoliant did to the Trees of Light... Although the Trees of Light didn't really do much except be giant lamp-posts

Ah, too many. I'll answer the first one, and predict that Shelob and Huan would both be killed in an extremely bloody battle.
