Frodo The Nazgul
Remember the scene where Aragorn explained that Frodo would not die from his stab wound but turn into a wraith?Has anyone ever thought about how funny Frodo the Nazgul would be?Can you imagine this little,cloaked,hairy-footed rider on a shetland pony, instead of a tuff, intimdating, former king riding on a big scary horse ? Oh what a thought!!!!
I could actually imagine Frodo being the Mini-Nazgul carried behind the Witch King in a sling, constantly asking "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Why are we after Sauron's enemies? Why? Why? Why?" just like a normal, annoying little kid.

He would ride a little "mini" horse... that's rather scary, in a way! Still, he wouldn't be very scary at all.

That'd be funny, you have these nine really scary, tall Nazgul, and then there is this little short one in the middle of them, acting like he's really scary. If I saw them like that, I'd fall on the floor cracking up, instead of running for my life...

I could envision the movie as Frodo the mini-nazgûl as being really whimpy. Being afraid of his mini-wingéd steed, and always running in fear and dropping his sword because he's still torn between good and e-vile. He'd also moan a lot too.

Remeber Bilbo on the eagle? How about Frodo on a winged steed? The steed would be more evil than the eagle, so maybe if Frodo pinches it, the steed will just do a barrel roll.

Even if his mind did turn evil, he'd hardly be much of a threat. He's braver in the books, but in the movie all he seems to do is fall over whenever there's fighting....even Sam hits people with saucepans!

Hi hi....
He would look like a real idiot, you know. This little punk running around hissing 'shire, bagginsss...' And the big Nazguls have a really nasty scream, while he would just make a little 'squeeek' It's fun making fun of Frodo

No no no, see the ringwraiths are big and scary, but have squeaky little voices when they say "Shire...Baggins" So, I think that Frodo would have a deep baritone voice as a nazgûl.

Heh, heh, heh. He would keep holding the others up while he had a food break. That would be rather amusing...

I can just see it now...
Frodo is overcome by the Morgul blade and becomes the Miniature Nazgul aka the 10th Ringwraith. Of course, Sauron now has the ring and, well, Middle Earth is doomed. However, a group of brave soldiers from Gondor and Rohan are trying to make a last stand and are being REALLY annoying to Lord Sauron. Frodo the Nazgul is sent to deal with the matter. "Surrender, in the name of Mordor!!" says the barely-four-foot-tall ringwraith in his most dramatic sounding voice. His short pony snorts and stomps the ground and attempts to look dangerous. The soldiers take one look at their enemy and his tiny pony and burst out in laughter. Frodo attempts to look more threatening. The soldiers laugh even harder. Time passes. Another ringwraith comes by and notices all of the soldiers are lying dead on the field. "Ah, I see that you finally figured out how to use the Black Breath, slave." "Um...well... no. They died laughing." |

*Giggles insanely* I'm glad I went back a few pages and found this thread! That was hilarious! I have to agree that Frodo would not be a very imposing Nazgul. He's be like the black sheep of the Ringwraith family. All the other Nazguls would have to keep him hidden to maintain their credibility. Great story Shire Flower that was classic!

Oh dear! *dies laughing*
You can't forget Frodo's little mini-Nazgul sword. While the other Nazgul wield long, sharp, evil-looking blades, he'd be stuck with the tiny little butter knife! I can just see it, a three-foot-six squeaking mini-Nazgul frantically waving a butter knife around.

The other Nazgul would also be jealous of Frodo's fangirls.
Don't say it couldn't happen, fangirls are very strange people!

Did anyone notice, in the scene on Weathertop in the FOTR movie, that one of the five Ringwraiths confronting the hobbits is a LOT shorter than the others? Maybe it has happened before?

For a LOTR trailer:
The dark lord sauron shall send his servants, the Nazgul. They are fierce(Nazgul start riding close to the screen.)They are deadly(the Nine get even closer). They are 4 feet tall. Frodo the Mini Nazgul suddenly. See the Lord of the Rings, Return of the Tenth Ringwraith. I suppose Frodo would try to show off with his dagger, drop it, cut his toe, and shout, "OW!!! My toe!" He's also the type of guy who would say, "Khamul, can I lead for once? I gotta go!"

That was great! If Frodo did manage to be scary he would by the one that crept on his enemies.
Just imagine: "Run, its Frodo the Mini-Nazgul!" But if he didn't manage as said before, well. . . His Black Breath would give people colds.*chuckles*

Interesting thought, that.
I always assumed that what Aragorn meant by wraith was not a Nazgul, but sort of a shade of his former self. He would be the Nazgul stable ghost, feeding the fellbeasts, gardener and caretaker of Minas Morgul, watching out for shieldmidens and Mid-Air Gwaihir Association Traffic Lights.

Well I can imagine Frodo the Nazgul stabbing Sam and Merry and Pippin and turning them into his slaves.
However, I think it would be particularly funny if, after years of discovering the secrets of Mordor, Frodo the Nazgul started forging his own Rings of Power in Mount Doom, and giving them all to Sauron and the other Wraiths. The Forces of Evil would then be entirely under Frodo's command and Frodo son of Drogo, Hobbit of the Shire, would then be recognised as King of Mordor and Undeniable Lord of all Evil.

gollum the nazgul
well, i kind of think of nazgul as big, hooded, dark gollums. which i know is completely inaccurate because gollum can die and he.. well... he's a lot different. but i could imagine frodo being a nazgul really easily. i mean, didn't you see the part of the movie when arwen was taking frodo to rivendell? don't you remember his eyes and his face? what is so lovely and rosy is able to become all the more wretched and cold.

Frodo, mini-Nazgul and king of Barad Dur; which is currently Saurons place of buisness, but Frodo, Son of Drogo, would secretly be bending the orcses to his evil little will and controlling all evil! *squeaky evil laughter*
