Word Association Game - The Barrow-Downs Discussion Forum

Back when I died on the Downs for the first time, years ago, I started this game. It was so popular that I took a break from the Downs for a month or so, came back, and found the thread alive and well! I figure, it can't hurt to see if you folks will like it.

Here's all you do. You say a word and we associate it to LotR. For example

I say Galadriel

First thing you think of is Elendil so you say Elendil

When I read Elendil I think of Aragorn so I say that

When somebody reads Aragorn they think of Kingsfoil so they put Kingsfoil

See where I'm going with it?

Should there be a rule that forbids saying the same word again? It would make this much funnier (and difficult) when the game goes on.
