Is it Thuringwethil?
Creature of the Shadow: Her name means 'Woman of the secret shadow'. Once Beauty Inside: Luthien uses her body as a cloak. Great Spirit Ruled by Another: She served Sauron. And Both of Them Could Fly! Thuringwethil could fly and I think, at that time at least, so could Sauron.
