Voronwe met with Tuor at Vinyamar and guided him to Gondolin....perhaps Strider is the one you are looking for then?
He met Frodo at The Prancing Pony and guided him at least to Amon Sul.... however, this may not be the idea you were after [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] in which case, i'll keep digging [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] twinkle
