Lean was I, so lean lean I might have died,
But they sold me, and set me free,
to others, who were more kind to me.
The burdons were heavy, but it was nice,
Compared to my old bad life.
I made a friend, and he befriended me,
lucky for me, that I was set free!
Back I came, but life was not the same, it was good!

Who am I?
