Posts: 0</TD><TD></TD></TR></TABLE> Re: Ok, new trivia Because of the same reason why Germanic runes (Futhark) and the Latin letters are linear, and for example, the Arabian letters fluid: the first were mainly carved in stone, for which purpose linear letters are more appropriate because more force can be put behind a line than a bow. And writing, like the Arabs, with ink on paper or leather, is easier with fluid letters (try writing Futharks per hand and you know what I mean...). </p> |
