Has anyone heard the recent buzz that has come up on the 'Kill Clause' should Amazon discontinue the series before the contracted 5 seasons/40 episodes are done? I came across an article on the web the other day about it would cost Amazon 20 million per season. Being season 3 is supposedly in production, that would mean the cost for canceling season 4 and 5 would be a mere 40 million, compared to the average half-billion to produce a season. Of course there likely would be actor's contracts that may need to be paid out, etc. I also hear rumor that the Dark Wizard Ciarán Hinds is disgruntled with the slow progress of the series. I suppose the problem with taking two plus years to get a season out for five seasons does present a problem of actor retention as they age ten years through the project, and may cut into committing to other projects.
