Thanks for starting this thread, William. His Tolkien-related work, though important, was one part of a great career.

As soon as I listened to the BBC radio adaption as a teenager, I fell in love with Ian Holm's performance as Frodo. Mith said it was "definitive", and I agree! I was so sad to hear of his passing this afternoon. I've been wanting to listen to the BBC adaption again for a while now, and I think I'll give it another listen to soon.
