I'm 14 and I read the Hobbit when I was 12. After reading The Hobbit it became my favorite book and I was very excited about reading the trilogy, but I got caught up in other things. So I'm reading them now and I think they are excellent books for teenagers to be reading. I haven't gotten to Return of the King yet, but so far I haven't had any trouble understanding them. Once I finish the Trilogy I'm gonna go back and read them again becasue I'm sure I have missed things in the plot the first time through. Wow, Yenwyn that's really awesome that you read The Hobbit at 4, I'm impressed! Although I have been very impressed with a lot of things ever since I came to these forums. So many intelligent people here, I like it. I feel inferior, but one day I'll catch up...I hope
