How many times have you read LOTR?

And Meela, you have a site with all things LotR, yet have not read the whole book? There must be a story there.

Not really [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] I tried, and I have read a lot of it, perhaps even all of it, just in small parts. On this site I was criticised and put down for not reading it all, so I tried to re-read it. Unfortunately, pushing me towards the books makes me resent them, so I have not looked at the books for some time. I will also never read the Silmarillion for the same reasons.

Apart from that, I generally prefer the background information to the story itself. I have read the Appendices many times, so I'm not entirely without knowledge.
Besides not reading the books, I am a big fan of Lotr, which is why I have my own site. Just because I haven't read every line it doesn't mean I don't like discussing it.
