When I didn't find it in the likely places, I reread COH... It's not a bad thing by itself, but for a quote...

I now have rather a bad conscience, wasting so much of your time...
But many is the time I was browsing in one of the books in search of a quote and found myself rereading whole chapters and more, getting caught up in the tale again.

Nonesense! Reading Tolkien is never a waste of time!
