Before the movies came out, I couldn't find ANYONE, whether boy or girl, who liked LOTR.

I have a couple friends who like it because the actors are cute, but as for girls liking it because of elves, etc. I can't relate to that, as most of my LOTR friends and myself enjoy it for all the swordfights. I think that's because I never had a sister.

I'm finding that it's about 50/50 here, but in my own life it's mainly girls who like it, and they like it for the swords, battles, etc.
