Beat Denethor with a shovel. He deserves it for being so mean to Faramir and so rude to Gandalf. Plus, Legolas is still too young to die! lol

OK. Would you rather tickle Smaug or try to throw a lasso at a Nazgul?

Throw a lasso. There is a chance I might miss and not be noticed.

Would you rather become a shirriff and betray all your friends to the Big Men, or would you rather be loyal and be locked up in the lockholes?

Be loyal - you will be released anyways when Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin come back, and you will be a hero, and you will have many friends. Whereas I doubt that the former sheriffs had many friends left after Saruman was killed.

Oh god! It's getting harder and harder to come up with new things!
How about this: face an angry Turin Turambar or get caught by Thorin Oakenshield while stealing his father's jewel (I forget what its called)?

Since it's unclear what I've done to anger Turin, I'll assume that I'm in the right and he's being unreasonable, so I'll go with that. I'd rather not be stealing anyone's jewels.

Would you rather be an Elf or a Hobbit?

(I'm surprised this one hasn't been asked as it's a rather basic one.

a hobbit. I don't care much for living for thousands of years; it gets boring after a couple of hundred...

Here's another simple one:would you rather be Merry or Pippin?

Since no one seems to want to answer this one, I'll do it myself. I'd rather be Merry - I would prefer Theoden's copany to Denethor's.
Here's a different question, and hopefully people will answer.

Would you rather be Saruman or Grima Wortongue?
