A hearty slap on the back to Boromir for bringing home the gold in what was a very very competitive race! The two former champs, Skip and Gwath, finished in second and third, and Nog and Nerwen were right on their heels. As a matter of fact each of those four was only one point behind the other!

And of course there were many others in the competition. Some got off to slow starts and finished stronger, while others started fine but tailed off at the end. That might win some leagues, but with the teams that were in this competition having more than one off round was a killer. Better luck next time to everyone. Perhaps next season will be your breakthrough.

Well that suits me right. I was too much out in the last rounds - and anyway my initial predictions were soo wrong that I earned to drop in the end - like my favourites to the World Cup Germany dropped out...

But it was fun anyway. I hope I can be more consistent the next year.
