I'm not holding the game up, by the way. Formy has yet to update the list.
Probably stuck in all that soap. Not sure who is playing right now...

Actually the thanks should probably go to Aganzir, since she reminded me of paper telephone in the first place, but you're welcome of course too.

My apologies for taking time (I forgot it on Thursday and was away for the weekend), but if it makes it any better, I'm seeing Legate today and I can pressure him to make his picture as quick as possible.

That was just due to more forgetfulness because I forgot to take the sentence with me in case Form wouldn't have sent it!
PS. Next time you can use Greenie's scanner if you wish.

Good! At least that. Well, since I was left without scanner and got a stroke of inspiration, I just thought it's a good time to experiment. But I may as well return to the scanner next time, if there is this possibility

As you can see below, we're moving ahead. Of course, being a secretive little mod, I wouldn't post this where Lommy could see it, but The Might's PM-box is full, and I need him to clear out at least one message...
1.Wilwa 2.Lady Brooke 3.Oddwen 4.dancing spawn of Ungoliant 5.A Little Green 6.Laurinquë 7.Mnemosyne 8.TheGreatElvenWarrior 9.Eönwë 10.Nogrod 11.Hookbill 12.Isabelkya 13.Aganzir 14.Thinlómien 15.Legate of Amon Lanc 16.Rune 17.Brinniel 18.The Might 19.THE Ka 20.Wilwa 21.Lady Brooke 22.Oddwen 23.dancing spawn of Ungoliant 24.A Little Green 25.Laurinquë 26.Mnemosyne 27.TheGreatElvenWarrior 28.Eönwë 29.Nogrod 30.Hookbill 31.Isabelkya 32.Aganzir 33.Thinlómien 34.Legate of Amon Lanc 35.Rune 36.Brinniel 37.The Might 38.THE Ka

I can understand that people can get busy and that it is not something you can know when you sign up, but I really think this game is taking ridiculously long.
People need to say so if they don't have time to participate or Formy need to take action and move the game along. |

Actually, children, we are on to THE Ka--past the Might--and will therefore be on to the second round of the game as soon as THE Ka gets her picture in--and as she's PMed me back and promised it soon, I imagine it will be.
Think not that because nothing is posted on the thread, that nothing is happening.

You're trying to guilt me into being normal, of all things?
Shocking! As an official update, though... we are now on to the return run--just as soon as I head over to my Private Messages and send out THE Ka's picture to Wilwa.

Sorry for that delay, I have startet mechanical engineering at the university of Karlsruhe and the first two semesters are all about getting rid of those not good enough, so I need to stay focused here.
This means that I have little, almost no time for BD. I will try to post here and there though and check the inbox more often.

If you don't have much time to visit the Downs, you can set an email notification for PM's (assuming, of course, you check your emails more often than you check the Downs ). That way you don't miss anything important.
Good luck with uni!

Why do things always break when I need them?
I just tried to scan my picture to email Form and my scanner isn't working. Considering that I was supposed to be in bed 15 minutes ago since I have school tomorrow, it's going to be at least tomorrow evening and most likely Tuesday before I either get my scanner working again or draw something on the computer. I'm so sorry everyone.

Still stuck on LadyBrooke--I confess that I'm as forgetful of this of late as anyone. November into December is a heavy time without reminders.

Last time LadyBrooke has been around was the 18th of November (checked that from the members list)... like a month ago...
Should we just skip her and if she reappears, then put her into another spot?

I'm going to send her another PM--she was pretty quick with working on the picture after the first one, so maybe she gets email notifications. If she gets back to me, and says she'll have it by Christmas, well and good. If she says move her to another part of the list, well and good. If I don't hear from her by Monday, I'll switch her for another even-number on the list.

Boy, the lines have been down for a long time.
Where are we now? I was just thinking if it's really reasonable to go through the second round considering that this has already taken several months. I'm sorry to be such a pessimist, but it doesn't seem likely that we would pick up the pace... I wonder if this game will see its anniversary before we are done. Of course, it's the operator's call.

Past experience suggests this things picks up once you get over sticky people. I also realise that the Mod is very lax this time around. He's mildly repentant, but not very. However, as he never heard from LadyBrooke--and really overdid it waiting for her, I'm ready to pass things on. I'm just not actually sure I still have the sentence in my PM-box, and I'm not in Edmonton with my own computer, but in Olds with my parents'. I won't be back there until after Bostonmoot. I'm really tempted to just let everything keep collecting snow until Jan. 5th ish, when I get back, but if I can, I'll move this along at least one more step.

Okay, so here's the updated list, and take note of the underlined names, which indicate those that have been moved around.
1.Wilwa 2.Lady Brooke 3.Oddwen 4.dancing spawn of Ungoliant 5.A Little Green 6.Laurinquë 7.Mnemosyne 8.TheGreatElvenWarrior 9.Eönwë 10.Nogrod 11.Hookbill 12.Isabelkya 13.Aganzir 14.Thinlómien 15.Legate of Amon Lanc 16.Rune 17.Brinniel 18.The Might 19.THE Ka 20.Wilwa 21.dancing spawn of Ungoliant 22.Oddwen 23.Laurinquë 24.A Little Green 25.Lady Brooke 26.Mnemosyne 27.TheGreatElvenWarrior 28.Eönwë 29.Nogrod 30.Hookbill 31.Isabelkya 32.Aganzir 33.Thinlómien 34.Legate of Amon Lanc 35.Rune 36.Brinniel 37.The Might 38.THE Ka With the exception of the odd people staying odd and the even people staying even--so that everybody gets a chance at drawing AND writing, the list can be fluid. But I don't like moving trouble people just because they're slow, because then we'll end with a backlog at the end. Now, to see if I still have Wilwa's sentence... EDIT: Sooooo.... yeah, I cleaned out my inbox a long time ago, and while Wilwa's sentence is safe in a document on *my* computer, it's nowhere near me now. If Wilwa wants, and gets it to me today, I can still send it on. Actually--if Wilwa sees this and can pass on *both* my email address and the sentence to Dancing Spawn, it doesn't even matter if she gets it to me today.
