Well I've already angered people on another thread talking about this subject, and I thought they were being very harsh to me and missing my point. I cannot stand it when people compare real life to The Lord of the Rings. That's all I'm saying.

The distinction between good and evil is far, far clearer in the book than it is in real life. Regardless of your politics, why would anyone try and bring down this great book by claiming it to be a metaphor for our world.

Oh yeah, to get people riled up. Just think, people get paid to write articles like that. Actual real money.
