P.S. Individually make sure I've added your team's points up correctly, I've rechecked and rechecked (with a calculator too!) for the past day and a half, but I never trust myself when it comes to math.

Although I need to add one little thing that just came to my mind... I lost to you with twelve points and that's a fair call. I lost. But had Aredhel assisted the Hithlum goal in the final (shwe basically assited one goal in every game before the final) I would have won you with four points. Here's how it would have played out: 10 pts. for most assists in the tournament prediction before the games started + 2x3 pts. for one assist for the team captain = 16 pts. - 12 pts. (our difference) = +4 pts.

I didn't even imagine overcoming you Skip as I was just looking at the difference between myself and Boro, but now as you say it... yeah, we would have ended up equal in the lead had Aredhel assisted one goal in the final.

Well, there are different ifs... like if Aredhel assisted one goal like she did in every game but the first where she scored instead, or if Ar Pharazôn made a hat-trick (before the final he had 50% ratio of scoring one or not scoring at all) and if he was chosen as your captain... The first one is something that could be said would have been highly probable and the second one would have been far from it.

I just couldn't be not mentioning that fact when I realised how "close" the contest was even if the numbers themselves would say it was a clearcut deal...


But I see what you mean and you're quite right indeed. An if is always an if - even if there are different ifs. And that's fine - well what else but fine could it be?
