Well, this is the link to the contact page on the Tolkien Estate site http://www.tolkienestate.com/contact/ which has options to contact both the Estate & Harper Collins. Speaking personally, much as I love Alan Lee's work it would be nice to see someone else's art in a Tolkien book. And I have to say that the style of this work seems to be more in keeping with the the work in question.

I agree, davem, and the interview shows that he made a real effort to keep his artwork in conjunction with Tolkien's own art and calligraphy. The props for the movies are the only other venue I can think of that have gone in this direction.
