Fun analysis on the game thread, Boro.

Everyone else- do the same please!

I don't mean you have to write big long pre-match breakdowns, but you should at least make predictions, for they are worth points!

Each quarterfinal prediction is worth two points, so that's eight points out there for the taking! Those points can take the spot of a missing player (and I know all of you are missing players).

Heh... agreed!

And Boro, you're doing just splendidly in the game! I need to take some risks to catch you now with your eight players fresh and scoring for you already before the changes...

I need to change the forwards at this phase (on these semifinals I don't trust any defence to hold as all the forwards of any of the opponents are just too unpredictably strong)

So off with **Miriel and -Nerdanel (my heart weeps indeed, the best players in this tournament...) and two stars worth of "money" to spend.

In with... hmm... *Eonwë of Valimar (who will receive the captaincy from Miriel) and *Beleg of Dor-Lomin...

Noggerball (the obsolete players in italics)

*GK- Huan (Hithlum)

*DF- Luthien (Nargothrond)
-DF- Balrog #5 (Angband)
*DF- Elfwine (Edoras)
-DF- Ar Zimrathan (Armenelos)

-MF- Earendil (Eregion)
**MF- Melkor (Valimar)
*MF- Glaurung (Nargothrond)

-FW- Aredhel (Hithlum)
*FW- Eonwë (Valimar) (C)
*FW- Beleg (Dor Lomin)

And my predictions on the matches:

Angband vs Tol-in-Gaurhoth - TIG wins!
Dor-Lomin vs Hithlum - Dor Lomin wins!
Armenelos vs Minas Morgul - Armenelos wins
Mirkwood vs Valimar - Valimar wins

Haha, thanks. I'm very proud of myself for skim Miruvor and Mogboro's.

And you know Nogrod, it's clear I've been gravely under-estimating Dor-Lomin's potential all year (I didn't even have 'em making it out of group play!), so if Hithlum is defeated, I'm in trouble and the door's open. I'll tell you too, I'm not so great at the NCAA March Madness that we have in the US. I usually start out of the gates really hot the 1st couple rounds, but once it gets down to 16, and the Elite 8, everything breaks down. That is when I start hoping everyone else's Tourney brackets just start getting messed up.

Edoras and Minas Morgul was a tough one too call, that was virtually a toss-up for me, and that hurt some people. But the real killer had to be Mirkwood's surprising win over Tuna, no one saw that one coming!

Absolutely! Túna won the shots 20-13! Anyway... that was a killer for many, me included.

But this is a risk-taking game... Last year I was doing pretty good as well (not this good) and went on for real risks (eg. choosing different than other people did) and lost heavily in the end. I have a bad feeling about this one as well, but the one who is afraid should not gamble!

Well, my team's in trouble... but did anyone expect Mirkwood to beat Túna? Aiii!

And I'm only allowed two trades...

I'll drop Elros and Felarof and add Carcharoth and Caranthir.

Nerwen's Nitpickers
*GK- Carcharoth (Angband)
*DF- Luthien (Nargothrond)
-DF- Indis (Tuna)
-DF- Elfwine (Edoras)
*DF- Caranthir (Hithlum)
-MF- Thuringwethil (Angband)
-MF- Tilion (Valimar)
-MF- Earendil (Eregion)
*MF- Glaurung (Nargothrond)
*FW- Sauron (Armenelos)
**FW- Miriel (Tuna) (C)

Eliminated players in italics.

And now– predictions.

Angband vs Tol-in-Gaurhoth– Winner: Angband.
Dor-Lomin vs Hithlum– Winner: Hithlum.
Armenelos vs Minas Morgul - Winner: Armenelos.
Mirkwood vs Valimar: Winner: Valimar.

And if I'm wrong on any of this, I'm in big trouble!
