Middle Earth Riddles: The Terror Continues

Looking back over the list, I noticed two that were never answered (unless I just missed them [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]) I looked back through the thread, but couldn't find them to see if I had, in fact, missed the answers (I remember Stephanos and Samwise being the posters, respectively, but I could be wrong) Anyhoo, here they are. If they were answered, let me know, and if not, we have two more to guess (again) at if the posters are still watching this thread.

What goes through the door without pinching itself,
Sits on the stove without burning itself,
Sits on the table and is not ashamed

Though precious it looks, a shiny stone,
It was not born in the earth.
It speaks all day, but no sound is heard,
And no matter how far it goes,
It will always end up in the same place.
