Give me a minute to get back on that topic now... .... .... .... OK, am back. I think you're right about Narnia, Beth. But then again, Harry Potter played a role there as well. I think it's interesting how the LotR & Potter phenomenons have really fed off each other in the last decade. Not that Potter is, of course, a sword movie - but wants are pretty much magical swords, no? Must do a gratuitous essay on that sometime (not wands and swords, but the whole symbiosis of Tolkien & Rowling in popular culture). Might post link. Eventually. When I am not sick or busy.
