I would argue that people who haven't been active for even a year are hardly active at all. Even if people don't post much they're likely to come online at least once every few months o a year.

That's what I would've said. Anyone who hasn't visited since December 2006 is most definitely inactive and most likely won't return. Though I'm tempted to keep members who were once extremely active and no longer are on the list for a little longer than the two year limit. It's just they are more likely to someday return than say a Haunting Spirit...and it has happened before. I don't know if I will though. It's more that I just don't want to remove some members because I miss them and don't want to give up on them. We'll see what I decide.

Keep them, I suggest. If they were that involved in the forum before, they're still part of the forum for those who were around when they were.

Hmm...it's really difficult to decide what qualifies as inactive. And taking a look at the list, I realised it depends on the member. So here's what I did:

I consider most members who haven not visited the site for two years as inactive. But if a member had over 500 posts, I extended the cut-off to three years. And if the member had less than 50 posts, I shortened the cut-off to one year.

Hopefully that's fair enough. But if anyone disagrees, let me know.

I have to say one thing I noticed going down the list is while many of the earlier BDers don't seem active anymore when it comes to posts, several of them have at least lurked here in recent months..
