I immediately thought "Hobbits" after reading the question so I went through all the Hobbit names and the one that seems most colourful is:

Lavender Boffin, as lavender is a colour. Although others may theoretically also represent colours...

Ha, yeah, hobbits do have very colorful names, but Lavender isn't who I'm thinking of. The one I have in mind's more than a little taller.
