I'm going to go for some more obscure characters:

(in no particular order)

Tom Bombadil
Hurin
Ulmo
Cirdan
Aghan?

(if I can't have the last one, as he's just a myth, then I'll replace him with Sam, who has always been my favourite character in LOTR, after Tom Bombadil, of course)
