Happy New Year to all of you! I'm a little late, I know. Well, I can't say I'm the only one in my house who likes Tolkien, but I'm definitely the one who knows about the books and has actually read them, better to say "swallowed". The problem is, I've noone to talk to and discuss the LOTR, share my fascination and admiration. To me it's a whole new world, history and future. My friends usually say they don't like fantasy, but I hate the most when someone goes and reads the book just to say he/she's read it, but actually doesn't care. It's not that I don't want other people to read it, that would be sick, but to read it because it's "IN" just now. How can I talk to these people about Tolkien, when they don't understand his work? Do you agree?
