You would need to set up a LiveJournal account, but that's fairly easy, and free. We would be delighted to have you.

I've got a book that would help you with that, but I can't say the title on here as it has a swear word in German on the title - but it ends with - The Real German They Didn't Teach You At School. So you can imagine how amusing it is...

LOL @ Rikae! Another example for a very harmless word in one language that means something sompletely different in another - very reminiscent of Twain's essay on the German language and his initial delight in the harmless German preposition 'damit'!

I finally decided to begin an LJ account for the sole purpose of joining the German Downs group. Unfortunately, this took place at a rather busy time in real life, so my participation has been minimalistic so far.

Rikae, where did you come across that hilarious German answering machine message in your signature?
