If we get a whole bunch of people somehow, I might add both a 3rd Wolf and a Seer, though...

Alright, let's get some official votes right now:

Everyone signed up for and/or interested in this game: Please post here or PM me to let me know which you prefer overall, if you have not already made it clear: starting as soon as possible, or waiting to start until Monday, December 18.

If the game runs into Christmas, we'll pause for the 24th and 25th.

See, the werewolf-previously-free-except-for-Fea's-lunacy--zone has no idea what this bit about cobblers means. And as I read this, it sounds like a foregone conclusion that they die. Or does this mean 'if they die'?

Is there some place that explains what all these special roles are or do you have to read over all the previous WW games to get it?

I'm sorry, I fail! I should have listed an explanation of the Cobbler role in the first post.

But here we are...better late than never? As ever...

A Cobbler is a villager who is such a sorry soul that he/she wishes to bring about not only their own death, but also the deaths of...well, everyone else! They are an innocent, ordinary villager, but one who wishes the Werewolves to win. Normally, the Cobbler does not know the identity of any of the wolves, but still must try and help them win somehow.

In this game, there will be two Cobbers, and each Cobbler knows the identity of one of the two Werewolves (each Cobblers knows a different werewolf). Neither Cobbler knows who the other is, and the Werewolves are completely in the dark as to who the Cobblers are.

They do not necessarily die, though usually they do... So, yes, that should have been an "if," technically. Sorry! They are just like any other villager, though, and so can be lynched or killed by the wolves.

) If you have enough people to start before then, don't wait for me though... but if you wait 'till the 18th, I look forward to suspecting you with very weak arguments, as always.

Ok, ok I'm in. I shall be a flighty young woman, with an Exotic colourful bird mask.

I vote for lots of gifted and Werewolves, I like the challenge and complications it brings to the game.

Also I would for sures need a break for Christmas if this game goes that long, so say...24th and 25th .

Seriously though, I shouldn't play if it's probable that I won't be able to be around to the end, because Dury would 99% certainly make me an ordo and you would all be too convinced of my role.

IF I play (and it looks like you won't need me) I would prefer to start as soon as possible. You see, I can't promise solid attention or being here all the time during the days after Thursday the 21st.

Also, IF I play, I will be a very elegant, cold, stoic lady. My dress will be silver and blue, made of light, flowing silver satin and chiffon, beaded and embroidered with blue. It will have a raised waist (empire waist, or regent style, whichever makes more sense to you), short sleeves, long skirt (to the floor). My mask will be formed of silver and blue feathers. It will cover my eyes and go over the bridge of my nose, and the feathers will sweep back into a wing like shape on the right side of my head. On the left side, my hair will be done up in braids, pinned up in fancy, twisted buns, with the ends unbraided so that curls fall behind my left ear. I will have pearly white skin, so white that the blue veins show in my throat, arms, and hands . I will be utterly calm (this will be strange playing for me, folks) and unmoveable (Durelin, remember that when you write my death).

I considered all this late last night while I was trying to go to sleep.

Remember, this is only IF you need me.

My oppupation will be countess.

May Cailín and I join this bash? I think we'd prefer it to start on Tuesday the 19th (for purely sentimental reasons) but Monday the 18th is very good too.

I think 2 wolves and 2 cobblers is the best way to go. Adding a third wolf makes us want to add a third cobbler. The ball might not be big enough for that. I think you should only add a seer if you also add the third wolf.

And sorry, I should have payed closer attention. If you really want to play and actually feel you can, I'd love to have you, but you're not absolutely needed, so if you feel like that would be a bit too much on your plate, then you'll be missed, but we'll understand.

Actually, starting the night on Sunday at 2:00 pm sounds good, but that would mean we end with a Day on the 23rd which feels odd to me. Still, it that can work fine.

So, Sunday the 17th at 2:00 pm EST will be our (still rather tentative) start date. If that time is impossible for anyone, just let me know. We will start with a Night and all that jazz.
