The relationship between Sam and Frodo, in my opinion, is the best portrayed friendship in all of literature and movie history. Sam is so caring and loving, willing to give everything up for Frodo, and Frodo is always there for Sam. In TTT, it almost made me cry when Sam though Frodo was dead and decided to carry out the Quest by himself. That is true devotion.

Three cheers for Sam!
