The whole "you know you're addicted to the Barrow-Downs when you only have 'Downers on your MSN list" has been done before... but I sadly never realized how true this was for me until I organised my contacts into categories yesterday (for the first time). The breakdown was, as follows:

'Downer Girls: 9
'Downer Guys: 5
Not 'Downers: 5

But if you want to know what's REALLY pathetic about that... of those five "Not-Downers" (and yes, those are the categories I named them and moved them into), one is a sibling, and so doesn't count- and Two of them are people who are friends of 'Downers. Had it not been for the 'Downs and the people THEY chat with... well, my stats for non-'Downers would look even worse.

Really, it's just... sad.

It's also a sign of addiction when your favourite newspaper is "The Downer".
