The Downs Needs You!
Hello, fellow Wights.
As you can see, it's been years since the question of Downs financial issues have been raised. But now the bill for hosting the site and the forum has come due -- on 4/21/10, to be exact. $142 will keep these shadowy mounds bathed in their trademark eerie green glow for another 2 years. We've already passed the hat in the mod forum, but since that's a pretty steep figure to be footed by the few remaining active mods and admins, we thought it would be a good idea to give our membership the opportunity to lend a hand. I think I can spare a few bucks. Have you ever looked into amazon's system for collecting contributions? I know of a few other fan-type sites that use it, and I seem to recall that it doesn't have the extra processing fee.
