It is no wonder that those who love the Wargs hate the Bullroarer. He after all fought off a Wolf raid during the Long Winter.
I think I know of another reason why the Warg lovers hate hobbits in general and Bullroarer in particular. Look at what Gandalf has to say about hobbits with reference to the Long Winter:
Quote:
I began to have a warm place in my heart for them in the Long Winter, which none of you can remember. They were very hard put to it then: one of the worst pinches they have been in, dying of cold, and starving in the dreadful dearth that followed. But that was the time to see their courage, and their pity one for another. It was by their pity as much as by their tough uncomplaining courage that they survived.
In the reign of Bullroarer, amidst this great hardship, there flowered a society based on compassion, co-operation and helping those less fortunate than ourselves.
Wargs of course represent the opposite - a society based on greed and power-worship; a ruthless, dog-eat-dog, devil-take-the-hindermost philosophy.

But it's actually even scarier than that.
The wise Norsemen predicted, in their own version of the Armageddon, the Voluspa,(much loved by Tolkien) the last age before the end of the world. A society much like the one I portrayed above, when oaths were broken and brother killed brother. "Varg-old", they called it, the "Warg Age."

Is that what you all want? To bring about the end of the world? Then by all means vote to support your wolfish friend. For my part, however, I'd like our planet to soldier on a little longer.
